Faith in our Culture (Lent 2012 Evening Services)

Poster for evening service series

Faith in our Culture

For our evening services during the season of Lent (Sundays, 6:30pm) we are taking the theme of faith in our culture.

Various friends and members of the church will be sharing insights that draw on their vocational expertise as well as their Christian faith to explore what those aspects of our society say about about faith… and what message Jesus has to bring to them.

26 February: Donald Hay on economics

4 March: Raymond Fawcett on science

11 March: Jonathan Brant on film

25 March: Dinah Reynolds on art

Candlelit Carols on Sunday

This Sunday evening, 18 December, sees St Clement’s annual candle-lit carol service at 6:30pm. The soft flickering light, sweet singing of the Christmas choir and the playing of the merry organ make this a beautiful setting to pause and reflect before the final run up to Christmas itself.

Come and join us at this popular event and, if you would like, do stay to chat afterwards over mulled wine and mince pies.
