Youth activities at St Clement's are led by our Youth Worker, Dave Burt, and a team of fantastic volunteers. Through our regular and one-off activities we aim to build positive relationships and provide a space where our young people can relax, have fun, make new friends and get to know God more deeply.  Dave is working out great ways to keep our youth connected when they're not able to meet together.

Connect with the Youth

A word of encouragement from a member of our congregation:

How is everyone doing after this week’s announcement of increased restrictions on our movements? I am praying for you all.

Yesterday, in my tidying and sorting, I came across a card, made by a child from Sunday school in my previous parish. It was a real encouragement at a hard time when I was given it, and it was encouraging again when I found it yesterday. It’s now on my desk making me smile each day.

What have you got around you that can encourage you, by the memories that it inspires, by its message, by its texture or smell or shape, or something else?

What can you give others, either physical or online (or by phone) that could encourage others? What would help you be encouraged today?

Take care and be gentle with yourself this day. God is gentle with us.

I've got questions

We all have so many questions! That’s why we run enquirers’ courses - giving you chance to ask questions about life and to explore the answers the Christian faith offers, in a friendly, non-judgemental environment. You are very welcome to join us – and can find out more through the link below.

  • A decent cup of Fairtrade coffee after morning services is always good and my children were always made to feel very welcome from my first visit. St. Clement’s is like my family. I need them when I am down! Home group is a safe place, to be me, to listen to others, to explore and to pray. It also often involves cake! It is warm and welcoming, a great place to make friends and meet with God.
